Geospatial Information Post Doctoral Researcher Opportunity


A Post Doctoral Researcher position is open at the Mapping and GIS Laboratory of The Ohio State University, starting July 2008 or a later date. The successful candidate will work on one or more research projects related to geospatial information, photogrammetry, Mars research, coastal GIS, or sensor modeling. 

Applicants should have a recent Ph.D. degree in Geoinformation and Geodetic Sciences or a related field. Knowledge and experiences in remote sensing/photogrammetry, vision, GIS, and/or coastal environmental research are desirable. The successful candidate will conduct research and coordinate with government agencies involved. Stipend depends on qualifications. The original appointment is for one year. Extension after the first year depends on availability of funding and performance.
