Attendees:

The purposes of this meeting is to

1. Inform co-PIs about the trip to Tampa Bay made by Dr. Li, Dr. Elaksher, Ruijin Ma, and Xutong Niu.
2. Discuss advances made in the project during the last period.
3. Plan the second year research topics.

The meeting started with a presentation by Dr. Elaksher about the trip (see Appendix A). Then a discussion was opened to talk about the last period research and the new research in Tampa. The new research will basically concentrate on:

1. Sea grass mapping
2. Shoreline mapping from sub-meter satellite images
3. Generating tide coordinated shorelines in open sea
4. Water surface modeling using hydrodynamic models
5. Data quality assessment
6. Remote access to the infrastructure coastal database

• The next co-PI and RA only meeting will be Thursday, December 12
• The next RA only meeting will be held Thursday, January 6
